This application contains a balanced, slow release
fertilizer to gently wake up turf. Pre-emergent crabgrass control will be applied in the "hot
spots". The next application will include a full application of crabgrass preventer. Crabgrass
germinates in late May to early June. In addition, we treat for broadleaf weeds.

| You will want to water in this application within
5-7 days (If we don't get a good spring rain), sooner is better. |
| |
Hose and sprinkler: 30-60 minutes per location.
Underground system: 15-30 minutes per location. |
| After initial watering, apply 1" of water per week.
In the spring, it's better to water heavily and infrequently. This will promote a better root
system that is better prepared for the hot and dry weather ahead. |

| The first mowing should be LOW and the clippings
bagged. Be sure to avoid SCALPING the lawn. This damages the lawn and causes a weed problem
later. After the first mowing, set the mower to about 2.5 to 3 inches and mow often enough to
remove no more than 1/3 of the grass blade in any given mowing. Mowing frequently is more
important than height. Frequent mowing=mowing less than 1/3 off=less plant stress=happier
plant=thicker turf. |

 |
Keep the mower blade sharp and balanced. |
 |
Determine proper mowing height, set mower on concrete surface,
and measure from the concrete to the lower edge of the mower deck (the blade is about 1/4" from
this point). |
 |
Vary mowing directions. |

| Please call if you see weeds 3-4 weeks after spring
application. With all the moisture we have this winter, weeds may germinate at a quicker rate.
As temperatures rise, this will also aid in the germination of weeds |
